  1. Prepare 1 cup Maida
  2. Prepare salt half teaspoon
  3. Take 1/4 teaspoon kalonji
  4. Make ready 2 tablespoon dry milk powder
  5. Get 1 cup warm milk
  6. Prepare 3 tablespoon sugar
  7. Take 3 tablespoon ghee

Shakarpara / Shankarpali literally means sweet cookies. These are delicious Indian style bite size cookies that are crispy, melt in mouth and not overly sweet. Shankarpali or Shakarpara is a crispy and lightly sweetened snack prepared using just six basic pantry ingredients! Typically made in Indian homes around Diwali.

Steps to make Shakar paray:
  1. In a bowl add maida+salt+milk powder+kalonji.mix well.
  2. Now make mixture to prepare dough.in acup add 1 cup warm milk+sugar+ghee.mixx well
  3. Now add warm mil mixture in dry mixture of maida.add gradually until a dough is formed.dough should not be too hard or too soft.
  4. Make a thick roti cut in cubes.fry in oil on mediun hot oil.add one by one.turn after 1 minute.when get golden and crispy.strain oil in strainer serve with masala tea or doodhpatti.Enjoy it's very tasty snack.
