  12. Prepare 1 cup White button mushrooms (chopped) -
  13. Take 1 tsp Lemon juice -
  14. Get 1/2 tsp Garlic paste -
  15. Make ready 1/2 tsp Ginger paste -
  16. Prepare 2 Tomatoes (chopped)
  17. Prepare to taste Salt
  18. Get 1 tsp Honey -
  19. Prepare 1 tsp Jeera powder
  20. Take 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  21. Prepare 2 tbsp Fried cashew nuts paste
  22. Make ready 2 tbsp Refined oil (for frying) Tomato gravy : Ghee -
  23. Get 1 inch Cinnamon -
  24. Make ready 10 Black Peppercorns
  25. Take Water
  26. Get 1/4 tsp Cinnamon powder -
  27. Make ready 1 tsp Cream -
Instructions to make Mushroom koftas in tomato gravy:
  1. For the filling, Fry chopped garlic in oil and add the spinach and saute. Add salt. Cool it for few minutes and then mix rest of the dough ingredients together to form a dough.
  2. Now mix the filling ingrediemts together. Make small roundels of the dough and stuff each roundel with mushroom stuffing and reshape them to form koftas. Deep fry then koftas and keep aside.
  3. Heat a pan with little ghee, add the cinnamon and Peppercorns. Add the chopped tomatoes and salt. Let it cook and simmer till the tomatoes are mushy.
  4. Then add water and keep boiling for 10 minutes. Strain the tomato gravy.Heat another kadhai with some more ghee. Add ginger garlic paste.
  5. Then add the strained tomato curry and stir. Then add the fried cashew nuts paste.Add jeera powder, salt and leave it to simmer.
  6. Add red chilli powder, cinnamon powder, little cream.finally add the koftas and serve.
