  8. Prepare 2 pieces onion for yakhni

  11. Take 3 Bay leaf for yakhni
  12. Make ready 1 tea spoon Cumin seeds
  13. Get 10 Black pepper
  14. Take 1 "Cinnamon stick
  15. Make ready 10 Cloves
  16. Prepare 6 Black cardamom
  17. Get 4 Green cardamon
  18. Make ready 1 piece Jaifal
  19. Get 1 piece Javatry small
  20. Take 2 Potato
  21. Prepare 1 cup Green peas
  22. Make ready 1 tsp Salt
  23. Make ready 1/4 tsp Haldi powder
  24. Prepare 2 inch piece Ginger for yakhni
  25. Get 2 tbsp spoon rose water
  26. Get 1/4 teaspoon Kesar cloour
  27. Take 2 tbs Brown onion spread
  28. Take 2 Bay leaf
  29. Make ready 1 cup Oil

Tie up the onion and all the spices into a small cloth. Take out mutton pieces and set aside. Save mutton stock and set aside. Remaining ingredients (onions, garlic and spices pack) shall be discarded.

Steps to make Mutton yakhni polaw potato green piece:
  1. Take cooker, add mutton, onion, garlic, salt,black cardamom, bay leaf, ginger piece, cinnamon stick, 1 glass water,salt, fennel, coriander seeds and close cooker. after 3 whistles yakhni mutton will be tender and ready. Fry potato haldi and salt mix and fry with green peas. Keep aside
  2. Open cooker and separate mutton, drain water and keep aside. Keep mutton aside. In a pan add oil, add mutton fry then add black pepper, cinnamon stick, clove, jaifal, javatry, black cardamom, bay leaf, green cardamon. Fry onion and add curd ginger garlic paste, green chilly paste, salt and mix well fry well.Add yakhni water bring to,boil add rice and cook. If water is less add some water and cook well
  3. Cook well and cover. After cooking add green peas, potato and mix well. Check salt.
  4. Cook well, add browned, onion, kesar colour, rose water, and keep 10 minutes on slow flame
  5. COver with foil paper and lid. Ready to serve with boondi raita
